Today we all watched each others Preliminary tasks and had to assess them in our groups. We had to mark specific criteria like holding a shot steady (where appropriate) , framing shots , using a variety of shots , selecting mise-en-scene appropriately , editing so it is apparaent to the viewer, and using sound and images in accordance with the task set ect.
We then gave positive feedback and a few improvements , this is the feedback we recieved:
Positive ;
-good steady shots
-good mise-en-scene
-good hand-held while running
-good editing
-good music choice
-good flow of titles
Improvements;
-Improve sound on dialogue
- Consider lighting on location
- Improve master shot of classroom considering rule of thirds and framing
- Consider how lighting affects how we see the actors' faces in the end scene
